The First Year Formal will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2009. This year's event takes place at the Delta Bessborough.

Saskatchewan Firm Showcase - Tuesday, November 3

Law firms from across Saskatchewan come and meet with our students to raise awareness about the various opportunities and exciting career possibilities right here in our province.  Approximately 25 Saskatchewan employers ranging from government, private practice, and urban, rural small and large firms will attend the event. All law students are invited to attend.  Food and refreshments are made available.  It is suggested that the dress for this event is business casual.

Challenge Cup Results

TThe LSA's Annual Challenge Cup hockey tournament was held Friday, February 27.  Congratulations to the winning Junior Alumni team, who defeated the Senior Alumni team in the final.
Third place went to the 3rd years, who defeated both the 1st and 2nd year teams.
Of notable mention was the 2nd years' second straight year with no wins.

  

USask Law Team Repeats as Western Canadian Law Hockey Champtions!!

Congratulations to the U of S Law Hockey Team, who traveled to Edmonton this past weekend to compete in the Western Canadian Law Hockey Championships.  The U of S team was victorious in the final, defeating Manitoba to claim the championship and repeat as top team.
Good work guys!
